OUR VISION
The Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society collects, protects, preserves, and interprets the artifacts, documents and photographs that trace the rich history of Healdsburg and surrounding area through exhibits, educational programs, scholarly discourse, historical research, and experiential workshops. We hold these objects in trust for present and future generations, understanding that the ties to our past, when woven with the experiences of our present, build the bridges to our future.
MUSEUM TOURS
The Museum offers free guided tours by appointment led by Staff and trained docents. A bilingual guide is available for our Spanish-speaking visitors. Please call ahead to schedule your group at least three weeks in advance of your anticipated visit. Teachers are asked to bring adults along to help supervise children. Each tour is tailored to the specific age and limitations of participants and generally run anywhere from 30 – 60 minutes. For those where stairs are a challenge, or individuals in wheelchairs, we are completely handicapped accessible and have an elevator to carry visitors between floors.
CURRENT EXHIBITION (July 8 - October 3)
